The year is almost over and that means it's time to think about oscars for this year. I'm not overally sure what to think about most of the main catagories becuase I rarely see the types of films that get nominated. I think Hugo stands for maybe best picture and definetly a nomination for best visual effects. The catagory I'm most interested in this year is best origional song. For me it comes down to two songs from the muppets "Lifes a happy song" or "Am I a man or am I a muppet?"

Even more important, it might have Amy Adams sing at the Academy Awards again.

Is The Help really that good? I havent seen it yet, but I've read plenty of negative reviews of it, but it is widely accepted that it will be nominated for several Oscars. Is it that solid of a film, or is it just fulfilling the People's Choice section of the Best Picture category?
