We've had a lot of guest episodes lately, to which some people have responded very favorably. Some, however, have said that they prefer the episodes of me and David solo. Which is your preference?

I can honestly say I prefer both. However, I tend to enjoy the guest episodes that deal with the guest's favorite movies rather than what they have to say on a certain topic.

It depends. Overall I'd say I prefer the David/Tyler solo shows because they tend to be more consistently entertaining and enlightening. The guest episodes and BP supplements have and continue to produce some of the greatest hours in film discussion but every once in a while a guest comes on that I am either uninterested in or unfamiliar with and that can decrease my interest in the episode. That said, I don't think I've yet to hear a poor episode of BP, regardless of who has been on, and when I have a problem with a guest it's often because of my own lack of interest or such.

I can't say I prefer one or the other. I think the current ratio of guest-to-non-guest episodes is just about perfect. It's always great to hear a different viewpoint on the show (I like the guest episodes less when they are interviews as opposed to discussions) but the solo episodes are better for staying on topic.

Having an occasional guest is good. That's how I found out about other podcasts (The Tobolowsky Files and The Paul Goebel Show for example). I think most people would like to hear another person's opinion on the show once in a while. But if you don't, remember, they're guests - which means they go away. We're not talking about cousin Oliver.
