This is, in my opinion, an overdue thread. Post any thanks and/or compliments you have for BP. They do a lot for us and rarely hear the thanks they deserve. This is an effort to rectify that.
Personally, I know I can state that BP has had a positive effect on views of film. It would take too long to explain, but suffice it to say that BP has greatly improved my taste in and discernment of films. I've seen far more films because of them and far, far better ones as well. A few specifics that come to mind at the moment: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... And Spring; Brick; Spirited Away; Brick; 12 Angry Men; In The Loop; and The White Ribbon. So, for your passion for film, your openness and honesty, your humour, and your dedication, I thank you.

I live all the way up in Montreal, Quebec, and I'm a huge fan. I think you guys are insightful and funny, and as long as you keep making em', I'll keep listening.
Thanks for the hours of entertainment and to be quite honest, making me feel a lot less alone.

Thanks for the hours of entertainment and to be quite honest, making me feel a lot less alone. This. I'm glad you said it before me... I have a job that keeps me in my car all day and I don't have a lot of people to talk too so the show does wonders for me. And on top of that I don't really have any movie fan friends that can go on about movies the way that I tend too do. So BP has pretty much kept me company for the last year. For that I graciously thank you.

I also wanna thank Battleship Pretension.
It's weird to think that I've been listening to these guys for over three years now. For pretty much that duration of time Monday's been one of my favorite days of the week. Other reasons would include another podcast I listen to coming out, a new school week starting in a school I actually enjoy going to and also for little over a year Monday always included a rerun episode of Oz which might be my favorite Tv show now.
But back to BP, it's always a joy to listen to a new show. Or an old one for that matter, I often revisit some of the older episodes. Like a week ago when I watched The Texas Chain Saw Massacre again and that made me wanna go back and listen to your episode of favorite movie endings. You often articulate my exact sentiments on a particular issue, you pretty often also say something that I completely disagree with. Either way it's always interesting to listen to. As a Finnish dude the show also helps me to maintain my vocabulary.
Thank you.
(PS. You don't have to apologize when you go on a tangent or do something silly. There's no need to, it's all good fun.)

I just want to thank Tyler for doing one of the funniest impressions ever performed on the pod. More Mickey Mouse!

Thank you Battleship Pretension for teaching me how to watch movies. Or more specifically, how to view them in a way that is relevant and true to me. It's like BP has given me the tools, and now I'm learning to use them in the way I see fit. And thanks for making dancarin and bouncingbrick feel less alone! That's awesome.

This is the closest thing to a "Congratulations Battleship Pretension" as we've got on this forum. I'm not sure if this is (perhaps really) old news but you've been featured on iTunes: tinypic.com/view.php?pic=118g0wh&s=7Well deserved, way to go guys!
